The Open dialog box does not list all the files due to wrong file type.

Cause:

The file type is changed to display only files of a certain type.

Solution:

Switch the file type back to display all types of files.

In the 'Open' dialog box, select 'All Files (*.*)' from the 'Files of type' drop-down list box.
